Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 8, 2026

Welcome to Maple Harbor Lotto. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Player," "User," or "You") and Maple Harbor Lotto Inc. ("Maple Harbor Lotto," "We," "Us," or "Our"), a licensed lottery operator incorporated under the laws of Canada. By creating an account, accessing our website (mapleharborlotto.com), or purchasing lottery tickets through our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Participation in lottery games carries financial risk. You must be 19 years of age or older to use this service. Access is strictly prohibited to persons located outside of eligible Canadian jurisdictions.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1. Age and Residency

To register for an account and purchase tickets, you must be:

  • At least 19 years of age;
  • Physically located within an eligible province or territory of Canada at the time of purchase;
  • Acting on your own behalf and not on behalf of another person or entity.

1.2. Account Verification (KYC)

As a licensed operator, we are required to verify the identity of all players. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We reserve the right to request documentation, including but not limited to government-issued photo identification and proof of address. Failure to provide such documentation may result in the suspension of your account and the forfeiture of any winnings.

1.3. One Account Rule

You are permitted to open and maintain only one account with Maple Harbor Lotto. If we discover that you have opened multiple accounts (e.g., to bypass betting limits or abuse bonuses), we reserve the right to close all associated accounts and void any associated transactions.

2. Purchasing Lottery Tickets

2.1. Official Operator Status

Maple Harbor Lotto is a direct operator. When you purchase a ticket on our website, you are purchasing an official entry into our lottery draw. We are not a ticket messenger service or a betting syndicate; your ticket is issued directly by our central gaming system.

2.2. Order Acceptance

A ticket purchase is only considered valid once it has been recorded in our central computer system and you have received a transaction confirmation. Placing a ticket in your "cart" does not constitute a valid entry until payment is successfully processed.

2.3. Cut-Off Times

Ticket sales for specific draws close at designated times (e.g., 15 minutes prior to the draw). Any purchase attempted after the cut-off time will be automatically entered into the next scheduled draw.

2.4. All Sales Final

Once a ticket has been purchased and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified by the Player. Please ensure your number selection is correct before finalizing payment.

3. Draws, Results, and Prizes

3.1. Draw Procedures

Draws are conducted using certified Random Number Generators (RNG) or mechanical draw machines, audited by independent third-party testing agencies to ensure fairness and randomness.

3.2. Winnings and Claims

Prizes are awarded based on the official results recorded in our central system. In the event of a discrepancy between the numbers displayed on the website/app and the official system records, the official system records shall prevail.

3.3. Prize Categories

  • Minor Prizes (under $1,000): Will be automatically credited to your Maple Harbor Lotto account balance. You may withdraw these funds or use them for future play.
  • Major Prizes ($1,000 and above): Are subject to additional validation procedures. We will contact you to arrange payment via bank transfer or cheque.
  • Jackpot Prizes: Must be claimed in person at our designated prize center. Jackpot winners may be required to participate in publicity events as a condition of receiving the prize, in accordance with regulatory transparency requirements.

3.4. Taxes

Under current Canadian law, lottery winnings are generally not subject to income tax. However, you are solely responsible for determining your tax liability in your specific jurisdiction.

4. Responsible Gaming

We are committed to providing a safe and responsible gaming environment. We provide the following tools to help you manage your play:

  • Deposit Limits: Set a cap on how much you can deposit daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • Loss Limits: Restrict the amount you can lose over a specific period.
  • Self-Exclusion: Voluntarily ban yourself from accessing your account for a set period (6 months, 1 year, or permanent).

If you feel you have a gambling problem, please contact appropriate support resources immediately.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and police reporting where applicable:

  • Use of VPNs, proxies, or other methods to mask your physical location.
  • Money laundering or using funds derived from criminal activity.
  • Collusion, cheating, or exploiting software errors (glitches).
  • Allowing a minor to access your account.

6. Limitation of Liability

Maple Harbor Lotto provides the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maple Harbor Lotto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or technical malfunctions that prevent a ticket purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of Maple Harbor Lotto Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
